A smartphone app to report lost /found pets (gps enabled)

THE SOLUTION

"Dude Where's My Dog" would be a smartphone app where you would report your pet lost at the time when you discover your pet missing. It would ask for basic characteristics about...say your dog such as Breed, Age, Weight, Color, any distinguishing characteristics. It would take your general location from a GPS feature. When you report a dog found, the app would record where you found it (GPS, or manual) then any characteristics about the animal, and contact info. This would blast out an alert to any missing dog owners in a 2-5 mile radius. This could also be linked to a local SPCA database where found pets meeting all/any of the criteria would also create an alert. In addition, when reporting your animal lost, it would immediately create a lost pet announcement to the person's local SPCA. It would cost @$5 to post your missing animal
